All of our hard products are independently tested by WSP Laboratories in Hamilton to ensure they meet or exceed the New Zealand Building Code requirements for co-efficient of friction, as well as comply with AS/NZS 4586:2004. This independant testing provides confidence that our products deliver proven slip resistance across a wide range of surfaces and perform as intended in both wet and dry conditions.
Our Stair Nosings and Deck Treads are fully compliant with D1/AS1 – Access Routes, the Acceptable Solution under Building Code Clause D1. This clause sets out the requirements for safe entry and exit to buildings, along with safe movement within buildings, including both internal and external stairs. Compliance with D1/AS1 ensures that pedestrians can move safely into, within, and out of commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
