We were approached by Gisborne Disctrict Council who had problems with people slipping when launching and retrieving their boats; a very common problem on boat ramps. The other issue they faced was to find a solution that would be suitable to use on the uneven concrete surface. 

They had a trial area of our 90mm Black Deck Treads fitted almost a year ago.  This has proven to be successful and withstood the conditions it has been laid in, so have now completed the rest of the ramp in time for the busy summer period. The Deck Treads are held in place using our Gorilla Grip adhesive and stainless steel mush head bolts; these were fitted by Rapcon Contractors of Tauranga.
