FEBRUARY 2026 - MFRP Stair Nosings fitted to Tuatapere Humpridge Track, Southland

We were emailed by the Maintenance Manager of the Tuatapere Humpridge Track in Southland after they had a sudden viaduct closure and had to open a steep, damp and slippery stair bypass down and back up a 35m gully. Clients had already walked 13 km by this point and they needed to make sure they felt safe.  They found our MFRP 50x30mm Safety Yellow stair nosing as the perfect solution and had the stair grip treads installed in no time. During the installation clients on the track commented on how much safer the grip treads felt. An initial order of 50 nosings were purchased and they have just placed an order many more.
