Academy Motor Inn in Tauranga had concerns about their outdoor tiled areas becoming slippery when wet. These tiles were structured and partially non-slip when originally laid, but over the years foot traffic has worn them down to a smooth surface.  There was a combined area of 130 sq metres of tiles and Slip Proof NZ carried out the treatment in less than 3 hours.  We were able to work in with the Motor Inn staff during their room servicing hours as to not disrupt them carrying out their work.  We split this in to three areas, so only one part of the Motor Inn was being treated at a time.  As soon as each area had been treated and hosed off, they were able to walk on these areas immediately.  We took co-efficient of friction readings before and after the treatment, lifting it well in excess of the minimum required standard, providing peace of mind for the Motor Inn staff and clients.
