Wooden boardwalks in the Whitianga Main Street were a pedestrian slip concern for the Council.  After discussions on how to remedy this area, they opted to retro fit over 700m of our 50mm Grey FRP Deck Treads. This provided them with a quick and cost effective solution.  Our Deck Treads carry a 5 year warranty against delamination, have been tested independently by WSP Laboratories in Hamilton for co-efficient of friction to comply with D1 building standards and have an expected life span in excess of 10 years.
