APRIL 2026 - AD60 Safety Yellow Stair Nosing fitted at Tauranga School

St Mary's Catholic School in Tauranga were wanting an option other than our fibreglass nosing for the extensive use around their school.  With the combined use of non slip carpet, our AD60 Safety Yellow stair nosing, it gives a professional, high visibility finish. The aluminium nosing comes pre-drilled and with screws supplied.  To fit, simply screw the nosing in to place then fit the insert.  Trim the ends of the insert with a stanley knife. With a rubber hammer, tap the ends of the aluminum nosing to clamp it down on to the insert to hold it in place.  On long lengths, this can be done in several places along the nosing if required.  By securing the ends, the insert won't shrink in the sun and it also avoids little hands trying to pry them out.
